Why young people don’t buy cars and apartments anymore

Because you were not born just to pay bills and die!

True Indeed. This is what the young generation or the youth they say have got on their minds. This new blood unlike their parents, don’t want to spend their earnings on those expensive cars and big houses, taking home loans, saving money and all that stuff.

Instead, success to them means, gaining experiences and thrill. This generation wants to explore more and more, travel the shit out of their lives, go for vacations on some exotic destinations, try different foods, interact with the people of different cities and countries and what not.  Buying these material things is not their cup of tea.

According to Forbes, modern young people change jobs every three years on average.

So what is the point of buying an expensive house at a place?

An Atlantic’s columnist, James Hamblin, explains this thing as: ’Over the past decade, psychologists carried out a great amount of research proving that, in terms of happiness and a sense of well-being, spending money on new experiences is much more profitable than buying new things. It brings more joy.’ No one can deny that for sure.

One more thing that comes to the mind is that buying those materialistic possessions adds to your worries. You have to then, take care of that brand new car, or the new house in which you have kept some expensive stuff. Maybe a worry of being robbed. On the other hand, experiences add life to your lives. Nobody can steal them from you. You actually grow, you make friends and talking to others, of course having a lot of friends makes you a happier person. You get to add so many cheerful memories to the memory album of your, of course, experiences do not depreciate with time like those expensive houses.

After all, salaries only fill your pockets but Adventures fill your soul.
